  1. 1. Move and manipulate the various appendages. Describe their movement. What do you find interesting about each of these? In order for the appendages to move, the muscles have to move, then the appendages will move.
  2. 2. Where do the muscles attach to the bone? The muscles attach to the bone is called a tendon.
  3. 3. How does where they attach determine the movement of the appendage? Where the bones are attached determines the movement because if you for example pull a muscle it is then hard for the person to move your appendages.
  4. 4. What are some of the differences between the muscle and the tissue where the muscle attaches to the bone?
The muscle and tissue that attaches to the bone is the tendon, therefore they are the same.
  1. 5. Are there differences in the ways different muscles attach within the same organism?
Yes, muscles attach in different ways within the same organism because we have so many cells and they are all different.
  1. 6. How are the attachments of the muscles similar and different among all the organisms including human muscles?
The attachments of the muscles are similar among organisms because all of the muscles connect the same way just some of them are a little more complex than others. For example, the human body is more complex than an animal body.
  1. 7. What composes the tissue that connects the muscle to bone?
The tendon is composed of fibrous connective tissues.
